A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

“Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.” ~ Description from Goodreads

My Thoughts

Usually when I read a book I love the sequel is usually a disappointment…. That is not the case with this book. A Court of Mist and Fury was actually BETTER than the first book. No one can change my mind on that!

Everything about this book was epic. I loved these new characters. I am absolutely in love with Rhysand and his whole family. This book was just as dark as the last in all the right ways. Plenty of action, a perfect plot, and romance (some of it got pretty steamy too!). I love all the ideals of the the Court of Dreams. Again Maas delivered a 5 star read that was entertaining until the very last page!

I have more thoughts on this whole world as whole coming up. Again I dove straight into the next book without stopping to pause. It has been a very long time since I have loved a series as much as I do here. I can count the number of fantasy series that have consumed me like this on one hand….. I’m not ready for it to come to a close…..

Thoughts on ACOMAF and the series as a whole…. Do you love it or hate it? I’d like to know! Drop a comment!
