The Dwarf Did It...

The Dark Side (OwlCrate April 2019)

YAY! I’m FINALLY posting about April’s Owl Crate! I know this post is late. I apologize. I have been really busy with some home school stuff with the kids. One of which was a really awesome trip to Sea World in Orlando. I have also been throwing back books on my TBR shelf left and right.

I loved the April box and cant wait to share it since it has one of my favorite cover changes so far this year! Lets get started!

The theme for the April Owl Crate was The Dark Side and as you can see we are going to be checking out some pretty nifty stuff. Everything seen here was in this box! (Except for the candle… That’s my dining room center piece.)

I’ll go ahead and kick start with the enamel pin. There is a collectible pin in every OwlCrate and every month they are designed by someone new. This month’s pin was inspired by Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan and was designed by Hey Atlas Creative.

Speaking of pins…. This month’s box included a banned specifically to hang all past pins on! This is pretty great because I kept saying i was going to buy a cork board to put them on and haven,t. I am the biggest procrastinator! I put all my OwlCrate and old Loot Crate on it and hung it next to my bookshelf. I think it’s cute.

This handy dandy pop out phone holder was also made by Hey Atlas Creative. It was inspired by the book Vicious by V..E Schwab . I’m actually a little in love with this thing and cant wait to use it. It isn’t compatible with my current leather Harry Potter phone case. When that wears out I’ll be using this!

The next item was a hardback notebook. It’s pretty large and the pages are blank. This is perfect for me because I make lists for EVERYTHING. I love that Owl Crate always ships useful things. This notebook is inspired by Manon from the Throne of Glass series and was designed by Stella Bookish Art.

SIX OF CROWS SOCKS! I love socks and love these.  These sock are from Out Of Print and the design is from the collectors edition of Six of Crows.

This box did include a chapter preview for Finale. It was hard not to look at this because I am SOOOO EXITED for this book. BUT, I did order OwlCrate’s special edition “World Of Caraval” box and it arrived yesterday! SOOO now that my Finale book is HERE I can dive in. I will also be posting about the special edition box tomorrow. The Owl Crate cover is STUNNING by the way.

This scarf is AMAZING… It’s sheer and light weight. It is a perfect spring time scarf even for people who live in Florida (like me). The design of it was inspired by the Grishaverse and was done by Bookmark’d Tattoos.

The grand finale for April 2019’s The Dark Side was this AMAZING exclusive edition of Wicked Saints!!! I am so in love with this cover. The original is white and black but this red and black is just so…… powerful! I love it! As always, this book is signed and has a letter from the author.

It also came with this awesome silk cloth map. This is pretty cool and one of the little extra things that make the Owl Crate subscription worth every penny.

That was it for April! The theme for May is Epic Adventures. The May box IS ON SALE NOW! This one is going to be epic and you wont want to miss it! Use This Referral Link to sign up today!

Also, Stay tuned for the reveal of the special edition “World of Caraval” box tomorrow!
