Murder and Mayhem (OwlCrate Mar.2019)

My March Owl Crate arrived about 2 weeks ago and I am just not getting around to posting about it because I was SUPER busy…. Reading, spring break, home school, etc etc…. I will go ahead and apologize for ALL pictures right now. I don’t know what is going on with the camera on my phone. I checked all the settings and EVERY SINGLE PICTURE has this blurry “soft glow” look to it…. I tried retaking them, tried enhancing them…. Nothing worked! Oh well! Lets see the cool stuff the March 2019 box themed “Murder and Mayhem” had to offer….

There was a lot of cool stuff in this month’s box starting with the pin…

I’m totally loving the new enamel pins that have been in the boxes for 2019. This pin is by Iron and Ink Designs. It is inspired by Four Dead Queens and the arrow of the compass actually moves!

Next up is vinyl sticker inspired by Three Dark Crowns by the artist Jamila Mehio. I love these stickers that sometimes come in Owl Crate Boxes. My laptop is currently covered so I just save these for a rainy day. The perfect project will come alone eventually!

This month’s box featured candles from In The Wick of Time. There were 3 different candles all of which inspired by the monsters in This Savage Song. Which one you would receive was a surprise. Mine was the Sunai green apple. It literally smells like a green Jolly Rancher. My book partner in crime got one that smelled like pomegranates and I’m not sure what the 3rd scent was… I havent seen it. Do you get Owl Crates and received the 3rd candle? If so, drop a comment! I’d like to know what it was!

This ceramic travel mug is absolutely beautiful and amazing! It says “Never Flinch, Never Fear, Never Forget” inspired by Nevernight. The design is by Catarina Book Designs and I am just in love with it! The ceramic part is dishwasher safe which is great because I hate dishes. The sleeve and lid are a silicone (not plastic). No slips. No leaks. I’ve used t for hot and cold coffee already.

I WISH MY CAMERA WASNT MESSED UP FOR THIS ITEM! This is a Game of Thrones inspired WOODEN bookmark by Ink and Wonder Designs. The red on this bookmark is absolutely stunning. There was another wooden bookmark by this same company in a past Owl Crate last summer That was inspired by Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secretes of the Universe and I loved it! still use it! The art on these don’t fade. They hold up pretty well to abuse. I am so happy to have another one. Plus you can’t have “murder and mayhem” without Game of Thrones right?

This little gem is probably the reason it took me so long to take pictures and post this blog HAHA. This drawstring backpack is designed by Michelle Gray and I have been using this as my purse since the second it came out of the box. It is comfortable, cute and sturdy. I took it to the mall with me last week and it was perfect for toting around Priory of the Orange Tree AAAALLLL DAAAYYY (you know the book store is always stop one at the mall even though it should probably be last).  Love it. It is the perfect size for all the stuff I need plus a little extra.

The featured book this month is Four Dead Queens. As always, we have an exclusive cover, Signed by the author, an authors note and a pencil that says “Four Dead Queens, One Conspiracy”. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS OWL CRATE COVER! Four Dead Queens has been on my TBR for a while now and I was so happy to see it in this box with a RED cover (the original is blue). This edition also came with a character art print (see below).

That was it for the month of March! The theme for April is The Dark Side and will have a scarf by Bookmarked Tattoos! If you like what you see here and want to sign up, Use this referral link >>> CLICK HERE <<<

Again, I apologize for this month’s pictures! This will be fixed for next time!
