The Dwarf Did It...

Rise From The Ashes (OwlCrate Nov. 2018)

I got my Owl Crate almost two weeks and LOVED IT! You can find out why I’m running late with my November unboxing in my previous post: November MIA Update.  This is going to be real short and sweet. I’m pretty sure everyone in the book community already knows what was in the November box plus my pictures are probably worse than usual because I broke my phone so lets just get right to it!

November’s theme was Rise From The Ashes. It had some useful stuff in it that I can’t wait to use.

As always, Owl Crate comes with a pin every month that features a piece of the art on the spoiler card.

After the pin, the first item in the November box was this neat little wish bracelet project. My 11 year old daughter is excited to do this with me. I think it’s a pretty cute little craft.

This sticker of Dumbledore and Fawkes bu Susanne Draws is SO CUTE! It fits the Rise From The Ashes theme perfectly! Besides, I love Harry Potter ANYTHING!

This skull planter is super cool and something I wasn’t expecting at all! That is one thing I absolutely LOVE about Owl Crate… They always come up with new and useful stuff to include in their boxes. This fits in on my bookshelves perfectly. I have a lot of skulls! I was going to put a mini succulent in this put my son suggested something cool like a venus flytrap. I kind of like that idea! It’s different and unique. Now I just have to FIND a venus flytrap for this planter….

Next up we have a postcard. All I see here is another piece for a bookish collage. I will make it one day…..

OK, now this is a cool item…. The Rise From The Ashes box had an ACTUAL useable wax seal kit. I love the color of the wax. I am actually looking for purple Christmas cards to use this with! I’m excited. I love vintage details.

The last big item before the book is this pillow case from An Ember In The Ashes. I love the color of this and I love that this pillow case has a zipper! can’t wait to put it on a throw pillow and put it in my reading corner.

The book for the November Owl Crate was Girls Of Paper And Fire… Cross it off my list!! The Owl Crate version of this book added a little more purple to the front cover, the title is gold instead of white, it is signed AND has a map printed inside. Love this edition!

The book also came with an author’s and a gold/clear sticker…

That’s it for November’s box! December’s theme is Power of Illusions. The sneak peak is a wooden bookmark and I can already tell you I LOVE these. There was one from this company many months back from Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets of the Universe and it was AMAZING! Easily my favorite bookmark. Can’t wait to see what this one will be. I also saw that the December box with feature a Caraval item. I REPEAT CARAVAL ITEM!! Yes…. I am fangirling…… SUPER excited.
