The Dwarf Did It...

November M.I.A. Update!

November I guess you could say I took a break! Lot’s happened and I was just really busy.

I DID NOT make it through my November TBR. Didn’t even come close!!! I read 1 1/2 books… Yes that is it! I finished Hunting Prince Dracula and I’ve been very very slowly reading Outrun The Wind. I’m hoping to finish it in the next couple of days and get a post up.

I also got my November Owl Crate. I’ll be working on that post later today and get it up before the end of the week. It was pretty cool as usual.

One of the reasons I haven’t in November and why both my blog and Twitter has been D.E.A.D is because I was sick for TWO WEEKS! My Husband had gone to some crop maze at Halloween with his daughter and caught a cold. So of course I had to catch it! I was sick for a week, then had a cough that would not go away for another week. On the bright side, being sick for two weeks helped me kick my smoking habit for the time being. Smoke free for one month now! LoL!

I did get a little book mail while I was M.I.A….. Most of it was just some Goodreads I had won rolling in but the two signed books in the wolf shifter series I had won from a Facebook book release party.

Next on “No Blog November” is I rescued two kittens! We came home from a mini road trip at almost 11 at night and I heard little mews coming from my storm ditch. I went and got a flash light to investigate and as soon as the flash light beam shined on the two kittens they tried to come running towards me. I scooped them up and brought them inside. They were about 3 1/2 weeks old. The girl we named Fillory from The Magicians and the boy we named Florin from The Princess Bride. After a few weeks, Fillory found a home on Thanksgiving day! I love holiday happy endings! We still have Florin…. He is a runty sickly little thing that is still on the mend. He gets his happy ending too because we are keeping him!! He gets along well with my cat Bacchus. Anywho…. here is a bunch of cute cat pictures….

Then of course there was Thanksgiving…. I cooked the whole meal from scratch as usual. Put up the Christmas tree and decorations…. Nothing major. Just took time away from blogging and reading. Here s a picture of my son baking pumpkin pie all by himself for the first time…. OH!! THIS REMINDS ME!!! He did get his Raddish Kids box for november…. Ill try to get those up this weekend right after Owl Crate.

I have a few fun blog posts planned for December. I WILL be reading thanks to online shopping! I don’t plan on going anywhere or doing anything except wrap gifts that arrive to my door step. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!
