The Dwarf Did It...

Lost In The Bookstore (OwlCrate Oct2018)

IT’S OWLCRATE TIME! Seriously my favorite time of the month. The theme for October was Lost In The Bookstore and had some cool stuff in it. Most of which were NOT fandom based this time. I love this spoiler card (pictured above). This might be my favorite one this year so far. Probably because I am a red-head and also love witches. BUT THAT’S OK!!! Moving on……

^^ Look at the October box in all its glory…. Lost In The Bookstore came with not one but TWO exclusive signed HARDBACK books. They don’t add a second book very often. The last one was the Fight Like A Girl box earlier this year that featured Sky In The Deep and Catching Stars. Here’s the catch….. Catching Stars wasn’t signed! But these two beauties are both signed and exclusive.

^^ Item one in the break down is the pin. Every month Owl Crate has a pin that is a reflection of the art work featured on the spoiler card.

^^ The second item in this month’s was a heart-shaped, purple silicone tea strainer. I’ve been using this thing all day and love it!

^^ We got the tea strainer because this month had some Choco-Mint Truffle loose leaf tea. I’ve had THREE mugs of this so far and LOVE IT. I haven’t even put a dent in this package yet either. I’m not a huge fan of chocolate so  I was actually afraid to try it. It’s a light and subtly flavored black tea. LOVE IT! Once again OwlCrate did not disappoint!  This was from and when I went to their site most of their teas are organic.

^^ This was pretty much the only fandom item in this month’s box. It is a Harry Potter art print by the artist Michelle Gray. She also was the designer on the tea strainer.

^^ SOCKS! The perfect fall item right? I’m actually in love with these socks from Out Of Print and Underlined. My kiddos always call me a “book nerd” so now I can wear it loud and proud!

^^ So I love this item…. but I’m not sure how I am going to use it yet. It is a canvas clutch purse with an amazing quote on it and made by Bookworm Boutique. I’m not sure if I want to actually use it as a clutch purse or if I want to use it to cart around whatever paperback I am reading at the time. It’s heavy-duty, simple, and beautiful.

^^ Main even PART ONE! We got an exclusive copy of Pride in the October Lost In The Bookstore box. Instead of the blue cover, the Owl Crate version is pink. Signed with an author’s note and a bookmark. Love the inside of this book. Pink isn’t my favorite color but this book is visually awesome.

^^ The second book, Shadow Of The Fox, pretty much made the whole thing for me. this book has been on my TBR for a while now and for it to included as a bonus book was AMAZING! It was also exclusive, signed, with an author’s note and a bookmark. The OwlCrate version inverted the original cover colors and I am 100% in love with it!

Last but not least we have the sneak peek for November. The theme is Rise From The Ashes. The spoiler item is a wax seal set! How cool is that? I’ll be using it for my Christmas cards this year for sure! I have been a subscriber since February 2018. I spent almost a year on the waiting list. Owl Crate NEVER disappoints! DONT WAIT!
