Book Tag: The A to Z Book Mess

GOOD MORNING FELLOW BOOK WORMS!!! So here is another book tag post. A to Z lets see what we go then I’ll tag someone at the end. I wish I could remember where this book tag came…. I copy and pasted the questions about a week or so ago. If you know the creator of this tag go ahead and drop a comment and a link! Thanks! (sorry for sucking lol)

Author you’ve read the most books from:

Hands down this is going to be Kresley Cole. I have read almost all of her books…. I own them too…. its like a 20 strong collection and counting (without counting I just guessed).

Best Sequel Ever:

Legendary. I loved Caraval and for me, it’s the best thing since Harry Potter or the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire series (aka True Blood) LOVE IT. Legendary is still holding me captive. Finale can hurry up now.

Currently Reading:

I am doing the read along for The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell

Daughter of a Daughter of a Queen by Sarah Bird

That’s it for now believe it or not.

Drink of Choice While Reading:

85% of the time I am drink booze, water, or both….. Right now I have both next to me. If it is SUPER early in the morning you can find me with a coffee or hot tea…. This is all I ever drink

E–reader or Physical Book?

Physical book. There is no competition here.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:

Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables. Yeah…. I he was my fictional boyfriend once upon a time.

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

Children of Blood and Bone. I just recently finished this book. It took me TWO MONTHS to get through it… But once I did… WOW. I loved it.

Hidden Gem Book:

Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. I’m not huge on tech books but WOW this one is great. This along with Deception Point also by Dan Brown. People know him for his Robert Langdon adventures like The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons and so on…. but these two earlier books are AMAZING.

Important Moment in your Reading Life:

I have two…. The day I discovered romance novels. I LOVE THEM! YA is still my fave genre but I have a soft spot for historical/paranormal romance (hence the huge Kresley Cole collection).

Second would be the day I received my first ARC in the MAIL. I had to read so many ebooks when I dislike ebooks to make it to that point.

Just Finished:

The Moon Shines Red by Pamela Sparkman

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:

Sci-Fi…. It is sooooooo hard for me to read Sci-Fi… Not sure why. I’ll just wait for the movie.

Longest Book You’ve Read:

The Crimson Petal and The White by Michael Faber and I’ve read this book twice.

Major book hangover because of:

The Caraval series….. It’s my new new in my fandom obsessions and the longer I have to wait for the next book, the more I die inside

Number of bookcases:

OK….. So I have 3. I was over flowing so I actually packed all my books since we are going to move soon. This freed up some space right? Ehhh….. I’ve refilled 3 shelves (and yes i have read/am reading these books) I am going to need 5 custom shelves when we move. Husband is designing them now.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

Harry Potter. Anne of Green Gables. Wintergirls.

Preferred Place To Read:

I can read anywhere honestly. I like my bed best. I would say my couch but then I get “MOMMY!’ed” to death

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:

There as SOOOOO many. I am going to have to come back to this question.

Reading Regret:

My DNF pile…… Believe it or not it isn’t that big…. It’s the stuff hidden in my Kindle that I never read if I have physical books available.

Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):

So there isn’t a series with ALL books out that I’ve STARTED and need to finish… But I will sat Court of Thorns series is on my wish list/ to buy list

Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:

Harry Potter

Anne of Green Gables

Immortals After Dark series

Caraval series

fjdfDF;DJFAODJFAFAJF;….. That is four I know…. And I could keep going……

Unapologetic Fangirl For:

Buffy The Vampire Slayer. No apologies.

Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:

Well in chronilogical order…..

Slayer by Kiersten White

Finale by Stephanie Garber

Worst Bookish Habit:

Reading in the bathtub… One of these days I am going to lose my book to the water…..

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:

Fawkes by Nadine Brandes

Your latest book purchase:

I bought two cook books for my son. One of them was the  Straight Up Tasty cookbook by Adam Richman (the Man Vs Food guy lol)

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):

Every single book I read keeps me up at night….. It’s the only time uninterrupted peaceful reading is available with a husband, kids, and a zoo of animals haha.

That’s it for this tag!! This was my second one and they are kind of fun. I am going to tag The Southern and Sassy Wine Lady again for this week only because that’s my book partner in crime and want to see her answers but the next book tag I’ll be selecting people at random! BE READY!
