The Dwarf Did It...

August Wrap Up!! (Life In Pics)

OOOOOOKKKK! Whew… August is over! There was a lot that went down in August just in books for The Dwarf Did It… I’m just going to list things this month before posting a slide show. Most pics can be found on Instagram but I do reserve some just for my end of month “life in pics” posts.

  1. I BOUGHT MY BLOG THIS MONTH! As anyone may have noticed this is now …. I’m super excited about this. One step closer towards being something! P.S. If any one wants to buy my a coffee today I’d greatly appreciate it…. Stay at home mom, homeschooling… just trying to make it in the book world! HAHA
  2. I PARTICIPATED IN MY FIRST BLOG TOUR! So one of my most recent posts was a book review for Harbor Me. I also created a cool  playlist full of middle school and teen angst that was really fun to put together. I had fun with my first blog tour and I’m actually signed up for another one in September so stay tuned
  3.  THE DWARF DID IT… HAD ITS FIRST GIVEAWAY! I reached over 1000 followers on Twitter this month so I had my first giveaway! I sent Circle all the way to Indonesia to my winner and boy did it feel cool! LoL. Turns out giveaways are REALLY fun. So stay tuned because in September this is what im gong to TRY to do: A signed copy of The Devilish Duke, 1 #bookishwish, 1 giveaway during my next blog tour. I have also decided there will be more follower giveaways at 2k, 3k, and 5k counts. Lots of fun stuff coming up!
  4. #BOOKISHWISH! I was able to grant two book wishes this month. I sent a copy of Big Little Lies within the United States and I was able to send Undead Girl Gang to the UK. I almost feel like a world traveler! I also received a couple wishes of my own and my son was granted his WHOLE wish list. As a stay at home mom, homeschooling my kid there are not words big enough to express my gratitude! This helps with language arts classes SO MUCH! Big thank you and shout out to all the people participating in this. I also have a post dedicated to this tag.

So that’s pretty much it….. I did read and review The Elusive Earl by one of my new favorite authors Maddison Michaels. Today is release day and there is a release party over on FB tonight that will have some awesome giveaways so stop by and check it out! I will be there tonight for sure!  Maddison Michaels FB Page

Oh! I actually won some Goodreads Giveaways and scored some cool book swag and book from some publishers. It’s always amazing to me when a publisher actually sends me something. I really lucked out this month and I am really grateful.

Honorable Mention: MY GRANDMA SENT ME HOCUS POCUS THE SEQUEL *happy dance* and there was Owl Crate (duh) that post is scheduled for tomorrow. BUT there is a picture of the diorama I did for last months crate which was a contest. Winners will be announced soon so that counts for August fun.

Alright so here is my life in pictures! Enjoy my random pictures of books, bookmail, cats, and little surprises from the month of August!
