Rose and Sword
There is a tale whispered in the dark of the Empire of Bharat-Jain. A tale of a bride who loses her bridegroom on the eve of her wedding. But is it a tale or a truth?” ~ Description from Goodreads

I received a printed ARC of this book about a month ago through a Goodreads giveaway and sadly I am filing it away as DNF for the time being. I loved the myth/legend feel of the first story. These seem to be back stories to already existing characters in Star-Touched Queen. I have not read the Star-Touched Queen series that this is a companion book for so right now I am giving it a 3 out of 5 star rating. I’m not into short stories at all but I will being picking it back up when I read the series for sure. I absolutely loved Death and Night so Im positive this will need a rating adjustment after completing it.

I loved the story of Death and Night. The writing in this book is very beautiful. Loved the sound of the Otherworldly Night Bazar. I wouldn’t mind buying some dream fruit and people watching there.

If you have NOT read this series, I recommend that you DON’T start with this book. It is meant to be read after the series. I had to stop myself to avoid some potential series spoilers.

This is perfect for Star-Touched fans and can be found on Book Depository! It just released on August 7th! Please click on this link to pick up your copy! —> Book Depository

Drop a comment if you have read anything in the Star-Touched world!! I’m curious to see if this is something I should persue reading or cut my losses on this book instead.
