The Dwarf Did It...

March Madness! JK… Here’s My Throwback…

This month’s throwback read is kind of special to me!! Once upon a time, a loooooooong long long time ago when I was….. I want to say 12 maybe 13….. I was staying at my step grandmother’s house. (Step as in my mom’s boyfriend’s mom haha). Anywho… She worked for Avon and always had all kinds of  Avon stuff lying around. In her basement there was a box of books. Avon romances. I had taken one of the books out of the box and read the back cover. It was about pirates! We all know I have a ridiculous obsession with pirates so I took that book home with me. I never read it. The next Harry Potter had come out so I set my new “secret” romance book aside and forgot about it. (I say secret because obviously I was too young to read it).

Some years went by, fast forward to me at 17, and I had just moved into my first apartment. I was unpacking my book shelves and came across this book again. This time I read it. My first historical romance. A feisty heroine , the humor, the action, and pirates. Hot steamy PIRATES! I was so in love with this book I read it twice then headed to the book store and raided the romance section. Historical and paranormal romance had become my new addiction. I still read all genres of books, but the book I’m WRITING is guess what….. Romance. I’m very sad to say I don’t have this book anymore. It was lost in a move. I wish I did though…. with the original cover that I remember it having…….

It has a new cover but it is still a fantastic book. check out the link below for a full description and to pick up a copy. If you like historical romance about pirates… this is totally the one to read.
